August Wrap Up

If  you've read my last post, then youll know that august was a weird a month for me. I tried to fit more reading in, but in the end I only finished one book at the start of the month. now its September and back to uni, I suppose my reading will be in decline anyways.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - J.K Rowling
This is the script of the new play. ive never read a script just for fun before so it took a while for me to get used to it. however once you get into a flow, you cant put it down ! I read this in a matter of hours. the general premise is of albus struggling to live with his potter name, and an attempt to right a wrong that occurred when harry was his age. It was so fun to delve back into Hogwarts. although, *spoiler alert* I was not a fan of a certain MAIN character. in a funny turn of events, it turns out that my favourite character is a Malfoy ! Scorpius was actually a really funny and cool character. as a little extra here, I shall add that I went to see the play last week and it was amazing ! I have no idea how they managed to pull off the magic but it was incredible and I would go see it again. theres an interesting twist in this story which works well in the story line. I enjoyed reading about old characters and meeting new ones. cursed child is a nice addition to my harry potter collection.

only one book but what a book ! I cant believe that its September. the year is almost over ! there are several books that are released this month that I'm looking forward to getting my hands on, will I read them? youll have to wait and see !

*UPDATE - I can't believe this has not been showing up ! I wrote this nearly two months ago, I've not forgotten about you ! I'll write again soon.*
